Château de Monbazillac,built in the middle of the XVI th century rises in the heart of Monbazillac's vineyard.
    Château de Bannes ,this ancient fortress dating from the XIII th century piercingly competed during the War of 100 years,was burned and dismantled in 1447. It was raised in the XVth and XVIth centuries at instigation of the powerful family of Gontaud-Biron. It appears today such as it was finished by 1520.
